Changing your Account's Email
How to change the email address of your Hireflix user
You can’t directly edit the email of an existing user in Hireflix. Instead, the correct way is to add the new email as a new user and then transfer the account ownership to that user. This keeps all company data, interviews, and settings intact.

Step-by-step
- Go to Account → Team Management and click Add member. Invite the new email address you want to use.
- Before opening the invitation, make sure you are logged out of the old user in all tabs. Then open the invite from the inbox of the new email and sign in to complete the new user setup.
- Important: After confirming the new user is active, log out from that new user and log back in with the current owner account. Only the owner can see and use the Transfer ownership action.
- While logged in as the owner, go to Account → Team Management. Locate the new user in the list and click Transfer ownership. Confirm the transfer.
- (Optional) After confirming everything works, you can remove the old user from Team Management by selecting the old user and choosing Remove.
What happens when you change your email
Changing your email this way does not affect any data or settings in your Hireflix account. All interviews, templates, team members, and integrations will remain exactly as they were. The only thing that changes is your login email — everything else continues to work seamlessly.
